New Grand Arrives at the Hall

Belmont Parish Hall is now the proud owner of its very own Grand Piano

Thanks to hard work and fundraising efforts the Piano Fund has reached its target and enabled the purchase. It will be a great asset to the Hall, which already has a tradition of hosting Piano Recitals and other musical events.

We wish to thank the following, whose generosity has made this possible through donations and financial support:

The Community, Belmont Parish Council, Durham Area Partnership, Durham County Council, the Sir James Knott Trust and the Sir John Priestman Charity Trust.

Co-operative Grant for Parish Hall

We are fortunate to have received a £500 grant from the Co-operative Community Fund. This will go towards upgrading IT facilities at the Hall.

The cheque was presented to Harriet Pritchard and Jean Foulds at a Community Fund event held at Durham County Cricket Club, on May 19, 2011.

Many, many thanks to the Cooperative North Region Durham Area Committee for their support.
